Praia de São Rafael to Vilamoura - 21st October 2026
Sand and cliffs, sand and cliffs. Went down some steep scary, dangerous bits on my ass - fuck what it looked like if anyone was watching, Then the last three miles or so, the tide turned kind, and I had firm sand for an hour or so. Gorgeous red and white cliffs for that bit just to add in some glorious scenery to help my tired body. I forgot how much all the up and down adds to the distance so sore feet at the end.
Hot again, up to 26 and full blown sunny. I do love it - mostly.
