Praia do Molhe, Ferragudo to Alvor - 24th October 2026
Cliffs all done and dusted. The bits today were fine and dandy, so no stress. Long bit of beach then doubled back somewhat along the Ribeira de Odiáxere to Alvor.
What a nice day today. Of course, the climb at the beginning is always difficult. I think that it takes time for my old systems to get up and running. Breakfast feels like a lump of clay banging about as I take upward steps and my heart seems to take ages to start pumping. But I'm moaning again. Had that lovely spiritual feeling on the approach to Alvor that makes all the pain worthwhile.
