East Cowes to Seaview – 3rd September 2026
Trials and tribulations of travel over, I can now settle in for the walk. However, the EIV has started early and because I flipped the elastic over my boots to stop it biting into my leg, the tops of my feet are now on fire. F 'ing lovely and I haven't even started walking yet.
Overcast for most of today which is fine, and the threatening rain stayed away
The Chinese captain of the giant ship is unaware that Andy Burham has introduced strict tariffs a la Trump.
The canons, silent for a hundred years, will once again roar! 'Aim for his rudder boys! We'll pirate his goods and chattels.'

I wasn't entirely sure about this island - sort of feels deep in the heart of the enemies camp, as it where. Absolutely no way to escape all the English tourists. Bloody banged with them. Still first day wasn't bad apart from the EIV fucking me up.
